Thanksgiving 2007

Thanksgiving is a multiple day event in the Gonzalez house. Thursday we spent the day in the high desert with Milo's family. It was very relaxing and dinner was yummy but we didn't take any pictures. Friday we had dinner at my parent's house with the whole family - including Aunt Mary, Joanna, Denise, Brad, and baby Durbin (due in spring of 2008:). We actually didn't take any pictures at their house either. Thankfully my mother loves to take pictures or we would have no memory whatsoever of holidays;) Anyway, it was nice to see everyone and the cousins were able to spend some quality time together. Livi was like an Alexis shadow! She didn't actually leave Alexis's side until after 10pm when Alexis went to bed. That's right, a 3 year old can party harder than Lex;)

Halloween Party

Daddy's favorite holiday has passed once again but this year we really celebrated. As you can see, Vince and I both had cute costumes - he was a business tycoon (according to the package his suit came in) and I was Cinderella. Mommy was Miranda Hobbes, Andi was Carrie Bradshaw, and Aunt Alli was Charlotte York. They were missing Samatha Jones - Cousin Denise was too tired to make the drive out:( Daddy, Uncle J.R., and Wayne were all scary pumpkin heads, Maya was a pumpkin, and Grampy was a nerd. Grammy and Mary didn't dress up (party poopers!). We had a yummy home cooked dinner and listened to the neighborhood children screaming in the front yard. It was a spooktacular party! -Livi

Bath Time

This was the first bath that Livi and Vince shared. I'm not sure who is showing who how to splash the biggest. I guess the important thing is that they both got clean, for a minute.

Maya Comes to Visit

Let me just start by saying that yes, that dress that Livi has on is at least two sizes too small but that is what she wanted to wear to dinner at Taco Surf. She is attempting to discover who she is stylistically. We're all hoping that this look does not call to her often. In addition to my sister's fashion exploration, my cousin Maya came to visit. I know she looks tiny but that girl has a grip! She seems to have many of my sister's wiggly tendencies. I often have to just stop and stare. We love to play together though. We go together like yin and yang. I suppose in the future if I need to I can just sit on her to get her to stay still.

Even More Cruise Pics

Not only did I make friends with the towel animals that the room steward left, but I discovered the love of my life - Funship Freddy. I know his unique hair style looks awkward but that's what I love about him! Even Vince is a fan (well, actually I arranged him like that but he didn't seem to mind).

End of Summer Cruise

We spent Labor Day on our first ever family vacation - a four day Mexican cruise with Carnival. Livi got her face painted (which she talked about for weeks before we left) and Vince got to spend some time swimming. It was fun for the kids. Milo and I, on the other hand, needed a few days to recover;)

Intro

Hello all!! I have been following the blogging of many of my friends and family and it occurred to me that perhaps I should start a blog. I mean, it seems like a very efficient way to keep everyone up to date on the latest happenings with my two bugs. So, we'll see how this goes!!
