Laguna 2008

We spent a long weekend at the beach in Laguna enjoying quite a LOT of "family" time. J.R. has coined a new phrase for vacationing with children based on our little trip - it's not "vacation", it's "time away from work". A much more accurate description. As you can see there was swimming, eating, shopping, napping, everything a good trip should involve. Livi white-knuckled it into the shallow end of the pool after days of coaxing but Vince, on the other hand, was convinced he already knew how to swim. I didn't realize it was possible to smile under water! The big girls spent some time attempting to body surf which resulted in a very thorough full body loofah for Andi. Overall it was a good time for all except poor Milo who had to go to work for 3 of the 4 days we were there. He was sorely missed:(

Chocolate Vince

It was a fudgesicle which I was happy to give Vince since it was sugar free and only 35 calories. Unfortunately it wasn't self cleaning.

Grandbaby Weekend

My parents decided that they needed a weekend "away" and it happened to coincide with Uncie JR and Auntie Alli's weekend away, which means ....slumber party at Grammy and Grampy's!!!!! Maya, Vince and I had a grand old time cooking, playing in the pool, going for walks. Grammy and Maya even took me to my dance class so I could see my best friend from school, Rona (who I call Grona for reasons that are unclear to everyone else:). We all had a blast being spoiled for the weekend. (Just a note for anyone who is concerned about Vince's glasses - they are in the shop and Mommy had to put tape on his old pair so that they don't hurt him. Mommy and Daddy are not actually trying to make him look like a little nerd.:)
