As some of you may know, the week of 5/19/2008 was not so great in the Gonzalez household. Vince and Milo were laid low by this lovely, and now familiar, virus called the Adenovirus. Although it presents like a cold in most people, my boys had the joy of experiencing the severe eye infection that is rare. Vince was so bad that he landed in the hospital for four days. I stayed with him the whole time but Milo was SICK so I had to call on my incredibly helpful mother and my Andi (that's how she is referred to by Livi "my Andi". It's similar to "my brother" or "my cousin", "my Andi".) Thankfully the virus is extremely contagious so we had a private room the entire time:) Vince was not at all happy about being in the hospital and spent the majority of the time in my arms or throwing things at the nurses. By the time we went home he was all better though (as you can see in the last picture), only Mommy needed time to recover. At this point I want to hope that we have had enough health worries for one year, but I am not holding my breath!
